Julie’s Cubbie Clothing and Home Goods Consignor Contract (Updated 7/21/2025)
General Terms:
1) PLEASE RESPECT AND APPRECIATE THE SERVICE WE PROVIDE!
Julie’s Cubbie reserves the right to refuse to accept a new consignor or cancel a current consignor’s account based on the person’s attitude, demeanor, interactions with staff, customers, consignors, or inability to follow our processes.
2) It is the responsibility of the consignor to keep Julie's Cubbie updated with current information and to check on their consignor account balance. Julie's Cubbie will NOT contact consignor when items sell, go on sale, expire or are donated.
3) Consignor split is 40% of the sale price. At the furniture/home goods store, after 30 days items go to 25% off, after 60 days items go to 50% off. At the clothing store when we are short on rack space, items may be put on sale at any time. Items may be donated after 30 days. We do NOT guarantee a minimum amount of time an item will be for sale on our floor. If you are not comfortable having your items pulled prior to the 90/60 days, then we recommend not consigning with us.
4) If an item has to be cleaned or fixed in any way, the consignor split goes down to 10%. Make sure YOU are examining your items in detail before you bring them to us. Any item that was accepted at drop off but later was found to have a rip, stain, or other issue where we will not consign it, will be donated.
5) By signing this contract, the consignor accepts that items on the store floor may be damaged, broken or stolen. The consignor will NOT be compensated for those items. Items will be appropriately marked in the inventory system to track those situations.
6) At the furniture/home goods store, after 90 days, if the consignor has not picked up their item(s), items become the property of Julie's Cubbie unless prior arrangements have been made with management.
7) Jewelry will now only be taken if items can be priced around $15 or higher. If jewelry was taken and cannot be priced for that amount, we will put it in a grab bag (at least 5 pieces) under your account so you may potentially receive some money for your jewelry.
8) Consignor may receive up to $500 in account payouts in any given month.
9) If consignor account is inactive for 24 consecutive months, the consignor forfeits any balance(s) on the their account(s). Inactive accounts are those where there are no incoming items or purchases from the consignor account for the 24 consecutive months.
10) This contract may be changed at any time by Julie's Cubbie. Notification of changes will be provided to the consignor when they come to the store to consign or emailed to consignor.
By signing this contact you are indicating that you have read, understood and agree to the terms listed above.
